To begin: Chain 5; connect with a slip stitch
Row 1: single-crochet (SC) 10 stitches
Row 2: SC an increase in every stitch from Row 1 - 20 SC stitches total
Row 3: SC an increase in every stitch from Row 2 - 40 SC stitches total
Row 4: SC an increase in every stitch from Row 3 - 80 SC stitches total
**Hat will begin to wave very dramatically at this point, rest assured, it will even out as you progress.
