1 1/2 C rolled oats, uncooked
1 1/2 C all-purpose flour
2/3 C light brown sugar
3/4 C butter (softened)
1 large apple, chopped into pieces (about 1 1/2 C)
1/2 C raisins
1/2 C shredded carrots (optional)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 400'. Mix together oats, flour, and brown sugar. Cut in butter until mix is crumbly. Add apple, raisins, carrots, cinnamon, and salt; mixing well. Pat into a greased 9x9 pan; bake for 40 minutes. Cool in pan before cutting into bars.
